Our Philosophy

The Lakes Beauty Room, based in Gamston near West Bridgford, Nottingham, is an oasis of calm.  Our philosophy is to provide an escape from the ordinary and to restore your natural balance by detoxifying your body, hydrating and purifying your skin, relaxing tense, tired muscles and rejuvinating and balancing the mind, body and soul.

At The Lakes Beauty Room we offer:

ORGANICTASTIC

THE LAKES has gone organic!  We are delighted to announce that we now use and sell SPIEZIA Spa Products which are produced on an organic farm in Cornwall.  The products are 100% organic and are available in spas and large department stores such as Harvey Nicholls.

Did you know that the average woman takes in upto 60% of nasty ingredients from skincare products into their bodies every year?  Scary stuff.  Spiezia is so natural you could eat it if you felt the need!

The Spiezia cleansing balm is a firm favourite of ours as not only does this beautiful balm melt away make up, dirt and grime, it also takes off waterproof mascara, so no need for a separate eye product. It can also be used as a deep cleansing mask - 3 products in 1!  A little of this balm goes a very long way and includes fab ingredients such as clove, clary save, eucalyptus and olive oil.

We are introducing new treatments at The Lakes all the time and are pleased and excited to tell you about our new spa ritual treatments using some fantastic new products!

LIFT IT UP FACE MASSAGE RITUAL - 45 mins - Opening Offer £25
Using our new organic Spiezia skincare range, this 45 minute facial is deep cleansing and uplifting.  The ingredients used in this facial are fantastic for brightening and clearing the skin and the massage movement techniques used through this facial help tone facial contours, bring colour back to the face and tone up your skin, leaving you with a more radiant and glowing face - a great facial to combat sagging skin and puffiness.  As always at The Lakes, our facials include neck and shoulder massage as well as a dreamy scalp massage. The facial is a gym workout for the face, you'll love it!

FIJIAN HOT OIL SCALP MASSAGE - 30 mins - £25
An amazing experience - warmed exotic nut oils are drizzled onto your hair followed by a relaxing scalp, neck and shoulder massage restoring balance and leaving the hair shiny and healthy.

MANGO & COCONUT BODY GLOW - 1 hour - £45
Aroma heaven from the Fiji Islands.  Discover the South Pacific secret to beautiful skin using our luxurious Fijian coconujt and mango cream scrub. Mango extracts gently buff away dull skin cells and unclog pores to rejuvenate your skin.  This is followed by an application of Fijian blended coconut milk and mango to leave the skin fully hydrated and with tropical aromas.

PURE FIJI ISLAND WRAP - 1 hour - £45
Hydrating and detoxifying leaving you renewed and restored.  Gentle body brushing is followed by a Fijian warm oil massage containing vitamins and antioxidants.  You are then cocooned whilst a warm oil facial and scalp massage relieves your tension.  The ultimate treatment leaving your body and mind with an Island Glow.

GRAND PARADISE EXPERIENCE - 1 hour & 15 mins - £50
Breath deep and be taken far away to the tropical Fiji Islands.  Your ritual begins with a gentle exfoliation of the body using coconut cream scrub followed by a relaxing and exotic extra virgin coconut oil massage.  Coconut body butter is then applied and you are wrapped up warm to promote hydration and nourishment.  The treatment concludes with a traditional Fijian scalp treatment using warmed coconut oil restoring shine and life to the hair. Pure indulgence.

FRANGIPANI MONOI NOURISH BODY WRAP - 1 hour - £40
Incorporating a special oil used by Tahitian women containing frangipani flower essence and coconut oil.  The body is lightly brushed, then warm monoi oil is poured over the body. You are then cocooned in a wrap and whilst absorbing this skin enhancing mixture you will be treated to a face and scalp massage like no other.
